SALSA is a food-safety standard written by experienced food safety experts to reflect both the legal requirements of producers and the enhanced expectations of ‘best practice’ of professional food buyers.

We have successfully demonstrated compliance for: ‘The wholesale, storage and distribution of chilled fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, prepared vegetables, cooked meats and raw meat, and other ambient prepacked food and drinks”.
Our certification is reviewed annually and only awarded following a successful audit. Accreditation is awarded where we have demonstrated that we can safely store and distribute our food and drink products and that we are committed to continually meeting the requirements of the SALSA standard.
This certification is a marker that we follow the highest safety standards and is independently audited and widely recognised in the industry.
