Michael Caines MBE Announced as Brand Ambassador

Devon and Wiltshire, UK – 23 February 2026
Four Seasons Fruiterers today announces the appointment of acclaimed British chef Michael Caines MBE as its newest Brand Ambassador. The partnership will officially launch on Monday, 30 March at Lympstone Manor, a five-star country house hotel overlooking the Exe Estuary in Devon.

Michael joins Four Seasons’ distinguished roster of ambassadors, which includes Marco Pierre White, Eva Maddison, Sam Squires, Ashleigh Farrand, Ricki Weston and Hywel Jones.

The collaboration represents a natural alignment of values. Throughout his distinguished career, Michael Caines has consistently championed the importance of exceptional raw ingredients, working closely with farmers, growers and artisan producers who share his commitment to integrity, seasonality and sustainability. Across his restaurants and hotels, menus are guided not only by culinary creativity but by deep-rooted, long-term supplier relationships built on trust and mutual respect.

For Michael, great cooking begins long before a dish reaches the pass. It starts with the soil, the seasons and the dedication of those who cultivate and supply the produce. This philosophy closely mirrors the ethos of Four Seasons Fruiterers, whose story is rooted in family, hospitality and a passion for fresh, honest food.

Founded on the edge of the Cotswolds and shaped by years of experience running family Italian restaurants across Oxfordshire, Four Seasons Fruiterers understands first-hand the demands of professional kitchens. For over 30 years, the company has connected local farms, artisan producers and trusted growers from the UK and beyond with foodservice businesses across the Cotswolds and surrounding counties. Deliveries of British produce arrive daily, complemented by twice-weekly shipments from Milan and Paris’ renowned Rungis Market, ensuring both regional provenance and international breadth.

Commenting on the announcement, Michael Caines MBE said:

“Quality ingredients are the foundation of everything we do. As chefs, we are custodians of the produce we work with, and it is our responsibility to honour the dedication of those who grow and supply it. Four Seasons Fruiterers shares that respect for provenance and community. Their commitment to building genuine relationships with both producers and customers resonates strongly with my own philosophy.”

Franco Ventriglia, Director, Four Seasons Fruiterers, said,

“As Brand Ambassador, Michael will collaborate with Four Seasons Fruiterers on seasonal campaigns, industry events and educational initiatives, highlighting the importance of responsible sourcing and celebrating the producers who underpin the British hospitality sector.

The launch event at Lympstone Manor will bring together chefs, suppliers, and industry partners to mark the beginning of the partnership and reaffirm a shared commitment to quality, provenance, and craftsmanship.”
