Michael Caines MBE

Michael Caines MBE is one of the UK’s most acclaimed chefs, with a career spanning over three decades. He held two Michelin stars for 18 consecutive years and has received numerous accolades, including an MBE for Services to Hospitality. His culinary philosophy is rooted in quality, seasonality, and innovation, earning him a reputation as one of Britain’s most influential figures in food and hospitality. Beyond the kitchen, Michael champions industry training and charitable causes, founding the South West Chef of the Year and the Michael Caines Academy at Exeter College. He is also head of the UK and Ireland delegation of Relais and Chateaux and sits on the World Culinary Council of Relais & Chateaux. In 2025, he joined The Stafford London as Culinary Strategist, marking his highly anticipated debut on the London dining scene.
