Distinctive to Four Seasons Fruiterers is our contribution to chef education and wider industry support.
Four Seasons partners with New College, Swindon and others to support the next generation of chefs. We provide ingredients, resources and encouragement so students can begin their careers with a strong understanding of quality and seasonality. We want these students to have “the best possible start”, a commitment reflected in the sponsorship of practical cookery challenges and the provision of catering equipment.
This is extended into the professional world through Chef’s Masterclass events at venues such as Foodworks Cookery School in the Cotswolds, bringing in renowned chefs like Marco Pierre White and Daniel Galmiche to demonstrate dishes, share techniques, and inspire both working chefs and students using FSF ingredients. These masterclasses sit within a broader programme of chef-focused activity, including curated chef events, tasting menus, producer showcases and a growing body of seasonal and product-led content on our digital channels.
Four Season Fruiterers are more than a delivery vehicle—we function as a learning hub and connector between chefs and producers, reinforcing long-term contributions to the craft of cooking as well as its logistics.
Our sense of responsibility also extends to the wider hospitality community through sustained charitable involvement. We play a lead role in supporting Hospitality Action, notably as a key partner in the South West Polo Day at Beaufort Polo Club, the most recent of which raised £58,000 in 2025 and £57,000 in 2026 to help hospitality professionals facing hardship. The event is about looking after the industry’s people as much as celebrating its food.
We also support regional initiatives such as the Ox In A Box Food Awards, where lifetime achievement among restaurateurs is celebrated. Four Seasons Fruiterers quietly stands behind the scenes to ensure those kitchens have the necessary ingredients and support.
