Typically available from about the middle of August through to October, cobnuts have a fresher flavour than any other nut and go very well with autumnal fruit and light cheeses.

They’re an extremely versatile nut as well! Suitable as an ingreditnet in both savoury and sweet dishes, they can complement rich deserts, and add flavour to traditional meals.
