
Monk’s Beard, also known as agretti, is a leafy green vegetable native to the Mediterranean
Monk’s beard has a savoury, slightly bitter, and briny taste with the young leaves having a nice crunch and a mild salty, minerally flavour. Cooked, it tastes similar to spinach.
