We have the first of the new-season autumn squash starting to arrive.

At moment we have Onion squash, Crown Prince, Spaghetti squash, Kabocha and Acorn squash.

Marvellously bright and beautifully varied squash can be used in so many ways. Warming soups, comforting gratins, stuffed, mashed or simply roasted to bring out the lovely caramel sweetness.

Some are sweeter, some are nuttier but all of them are worth a try!
